Each day of this 7 day challenge, you will be guided through four new video tutorials of body movement and/or breathwork techniques that work to regulate the nervous system. Each day builds upon the previous day's learning and at the end of your week, you will have a new toolbelt full of regulatory drills that are proven to work for you in attaining a more regulated nervous system. STILL UNSURE? Let's make sure we understand a few basics about the nervous system. The nervous system controls things like thoughts, emotions, movements, breathing, heart rate, etc. The nervous system is also the center of all mental activity including thought, learning, and memory. Nervous system regulation is essentially the ability to flexibly move between various states of arousal in response to stressors. It allows for us to adapt when we encounter changes like disappointing news, traffic making us late, toddler tantrums, etc. It also means we're able to fully recover after the stressor has been removed. This 7 day challenge empowers you to increase adaptability and rewire how you respond to life's many stressors.
